SUBJECT: Complementary information
1. We have been informed that there's a serious threat against CHEZ
LANDO Hotel. The.“Death Escadron“ is planning to conduct sabotage
in the building and murder. against Mr Lando and Mr Joseph
Kavarugenda president or the constitutional court.
2. The suspected organizer could be Mr Nzabanita Jean De Dieu who
is living in Remera in Lando's neighbourhood. He is also the son in
law of Mr Mugenzi Justin leader of PL party.
3. The head of the Death Escadron is Mr Zigiranyirazo Protais,
brother in law of the President of the republic and former Prefect
of Ruhengeri. He had been arrested in Canada for murder attempt
against Mr Seth Sendashonga future minister of RPF.
4. The second in command is Co1 Sagatwa Secretery and brother in
law of the President.
5. The third. in command is Mr Rwabukumba Seraphin, famous
buisnessman and cousin of the President.
6. The following militaries are known as being active members of
the so called Death Escadron:
— Corporal Habiyaremya Octave
— Sergeant Kanzeguhera Jean-Damascene
— First sergeant Nteziyaremye Leopold
- gendarme-corporal Nteziyaremye Jean Bosco of Ruhengeri commune.
- First sergeant Hareyimana Japfet working in the office of_
criminology with the captain Simbikangwa Pascal a handicaped well
known for torture.
7. The above mentioned could have in their possessien letters of
dismissal signed by the minister of defence in case they were caught
red handed.
8. French militaries are suspected to train young Zairan natives in the forest of Gishwati (3.500)
