Abstract
Rwanda, led by Paul Kagame since the end of the genocide, continues to be active on the world stage. The vitality of this small state and its leader reflects a global foreign policy strategy. By highlighting its successes in various fields (economic, military, etc.), the country is developing a communications strategy that serves as a framework for its global diplomatic action. In recent years, Rwanda's foreign policy has evolved significantly. It now presents itself as an influential and emerging power on the African continent. The Rwanda Patriotic Front (RPF) regime is doing everything possible to export its model through the creation of a “national brand”. The aim of this study is to provide an analysis of recent developments in Rwanda's foreign policy and actions. The aim of the analysis is therefore to outline the vitality of Rwandan foreign policy and the tools deployed today to strengthen its international reputation and influence on the continent. In addition, the author attempts to show how the country is trying to take advantage of the potential offered by the African continent, and its strategies for seizing the best possible opportunities.
